Homeless Kids in Africa
Our first project was supporting student in secondary schools. In addition to the long-lasting impact of the catastrophic insecurity, existing schools are severely lacking in basic supplies of educational tools like stationary, mathematical equipment, and classroom equipment.
About the project
Starting point
The first step to understand the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a child's learning experience in Africa and to find out how we could make improvements.
Support from local communities
Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to the educational landscape across Africa.
End result
Contextualizing the needs of African schoolchildren, their parents, and their educators helped us to construct a well-equipped, bright, and accessible place of learning.
